Chelsea Motherwell wrote and directed “The Dream Machine” as her senior thesis project before graduating from Regent University with a B.A. in Cinema-Television. Her passion for movies and television began early in life, and like most aspiring filmmakers, this passion later turned into an obsession with editing terrible YouTube videos in her high school years. This somehow led her to film school where she met people just as crazy as she is and she’s never looked back. She’s very thankful she was given the opportunity to make a film about love and loss, and even more thankful she was able to do it with dedicated and talented friends who share her love for storytelling. She’s currently working full-time in Virginia Beach and still involved with independent filmmaking. She’s excited for wherever God leads her next, and she’s grateful for every experience.
